Green Cross International is non-governmental nonprofit ecological organization founded by Mikhail Gorbachev in 1993 after Earth Summit conference held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Green Cross International headquarters is situated in Geneva. And national offices are located in 31 countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Hungary, Ghana, Denmark, Spain, Jordan, Italy, Canada, Cote d’Ivoire, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, USA, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, France, Estonia, South Korea and Japan.
