GCU APPEAL
Dear friends,
Dear colleagues and partners,
“We are not afraid of Russia, we are not afraid to talk about everything with Russia, we are not afraid to talk about security guarantees, we are not afraid to talk about a neutral status. But what kind of guarantees will we have? And most importantly: which specific countries will give them to us?”
It is quotation of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Ukrainian people need guarantees and accurate information about the countries that will be ready to provide them for the confidence and security of the lives of families and all of our people.
When will the invasion of Russian invaders on my land stop?
This is now the main issue that worries my family and millions of my native people.
We are defending our freedom and land, and more than ever we need effective international assistance and support from you.
It is very difficult for all of us to cope with the invaders, but we are trying to be strong, and we will stand in this struggle for independence and freedom.
With your help and support, it will be easier for us to survive, in this regard, we ask you and inform about the needs of people who are now facing difficult and inhuman conditions and situations.
In cities where hostilities are taking place, people need bread, water, food for children, milk for children and medicines.
We need to help with the food supply.
It is necessary to feed the mothers who, out of fear of the bombings, were forced to leave their homes and fled the cities with their children. Now they stay in bomb shelters and basements. How do they live at this moment and what do our children, brothers and sisters feel, who endure and suffer from the invaders?
We are not asking for anything big. We, the GCU Team, will be able to organize this assistance together with volunteers and partners, but we do not have the financial capabilities for this.
What else we can say and ask of you is that we ask you to pray that the Russian invasion stops and does not spread further to other European countries.
You and God are with us.
Yuriy Sapiga and the GCU Team
